Lions' Pride:
  • provides on average 60% of the HoHS athletics budget
  • provides insurance for and funding for extra HoHS athletic activities
We serve to:
  • ​promote school spirit
  • provide concession stands for all home events
  • organize fun events surrounding the year’s sports calendar
  • help the HoHS Athletic Director with coach needs and wants
We are pleased to help out with the Athletic Department costs including:
  • Maintenance and improvements to the athletic locations (Gym, Fields, Weight Room, and more)
  • Improvements to the concession stands (indoor and outdoor) and the press box
  • Uniforms for all sports and traditional athletic school clubs that compete and represent Howard High
  • Fees for our coaches to attend state required clinics
  • Howard High sponsored tournaments
  • Subscriptions for competitive athletic services
  • Support competitive school athletic clubs (swim, ice hockey, mountain biking, etc.) 
  • FOSTER AND BUILD A HOWARD HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY

The Lions’ Pride Athletic Booster Club, Incorporated ("Lions' Pride") is a Maryland Tax-Exempt Non-Stock Corporation and we are a current 501(c)(3). Lions' Pride is an all volunteer organization, open to all members of the Howard High community (past, present and future) with the mission of providing off-the field support for the Howard High School athletics program. We are dedicated to serve the financial needs of all MPSSAA Howard High School Sports Teams and including club-based high school competitive teams (examples: dirt bike, ice hockey, and swim).
